We are seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Manager to join our client’s team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing high-quality visual content that enhances their brand’s presence across social media platforms.
You will collaborate closely with their Digital Marketing Specialist to execute the content strategy, developing visually compelling and platform-optimized content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Your work will ensure brand consistency, audience engagement, and the timely delivery of all social media assets.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging graphics, infographics, and video content for social media platforms
- Develop social media-ready content optimized for various platforms
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to execute the planned content strategy
- Maintain brand consistency across all designs and multimedia content
- Deliver assets on time, based on the established content calendar
Must Have
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools
- Experience in creating social media visuals, including infographics and videos
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines
- Understanding of optimizing visuals and videos for social media formats
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality results under deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience working in the financial services industry or a similar field
- Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms
- Knowledge of animation tools like Adobe After Effects
- Experience with content management systems (CMS)
Detailed Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging social media content, including graphics, infographics, and short-form videos, to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to align content with the overall marketing strategy and campaign objectives.
- Optimize visual content for various social media platforms, ensuring compatibility with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative assets while adapting designs for different target audiences.
- Oversee the timely production and scheduling of social media assets in accordance with the content calendar.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Experience with short-form video editing using CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, including formatting, optimization, and platform trends.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work within brand guidelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Experience in the financial services industry or a similar field is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is an advantage.
